What are the limitations on time, if any, to upgrade to the 1F latest software? Can I continue to run with my version which may be somewhat out-of-date and still have options in the future to upgrade? Does 1F have a cutoff where you just cannot or it becomes impossible or very expensive to upgrade?
You can run your machine forever without ever updating the software. Updates are 100% completely optional!

Is there any issues or concerns of skiping several revisions and then making an update after the warranty period?
None. You’ll just be missing out on and fixes, enhancements, or changes that new firmware could issue.
