Suggested Speeds for Project

Hey Guys,

I’m working on a larger version of a project that I cut a few weeks ago. I’m looking for some suggestions on what clearing bit to use and settings to get a clean but quick result.

Right now, I have it set up to use a 1/4” Jenny endmill to do both the pockets and the profile cut. It’s saying that it will be almost 2 hours to do. The project is on a 1/2” plywood sheet that is 34x48”.

I can provide my current tool info if that helps with some suggested changes.

Here is the first one I did a few weeks back for reference:

What are your tool settings? I haven’t cut plywood, standard recommended is 100 ft/min but I suspect you can hit 200-250 ft/minute at .2” DOC. It’ll slow down for the curves of your project. There’s info here and on the bit vendor’s site that will give you guidance.
