Can anyone provide accurate dimensions for the Foreman QCW T-Track cross section.
I’ve just placed my order and it will be several months until I see the Elite Foreman.
My drawing is basicly (best guess)
Also the diameter of the tubes would be very handy

And for those who prefer mm

@Woodpecker
Do you have a good contact/source for the extruded aluminum, by chance? I want to enclose my Elite foreman, and was considering using the extruded aluminum and plexi approach; but, pricing was far above using MDF/2"x4"'s.

NO sorry just getting from Amazon and yes aluminum + plexi is a few $$

Tim, What was your order number? I am impatiently waiting for order 45551 (Elite Foreman ordered Jan. 9). I have started to build a torsion box table (68" wide x 64" deep x 3 1/4" thick). I am going to mount the table on a Drew Fisher style flip top so I can roll the table away for storage. Fisher's Mobile Assembly Table — Fisher's Shop Online (Yes I know that I am going to void the warranty. I will take precautions to anchor the gantry and spindle before flipping the table.)

Hello,

I just recieved my Elite Forman…Figuring out this table build is a challenge. If possible would you be willing to share your sketchup file and cut list.

Nick,

I decided to go with the QCW and legs and I built a much different looking cabinet.

I’d be very interested in the Sketchup File and cut list. I am vacillating on how to build my table - i have a while yet as they won’t ship until next year at this point

Please email me directly.

I can send you larger files over Skype

My Skype handle is the same as my email address.

Since I have a while to wait for the Elite Forman package that I ordered to arrive I decided to start designing a table for it. It’s getting there but needs more work.

I’ll be using a torsion box top for it but I’m still not sure where I’ll be going with the base. I could use some suggestions here. I’ve also tried to keep all the spoil board MDF slats the same size but if the rotary that I build from the Onefinity photos and dimensions is correct, I’ll have to make some changes to accommodate mounting it.

I’ve worked with industrial routers for years. A table that makes cleanup nice and easy goes a long way, and is often overlooked when setting up a machine.

I see a lot of tables that take advantage of the space under the table, but I think to myself how much that space will accumulate dust and chips!

My table has solid sides that go right to the floor to stop chips from accumulating under the table. I keep cables and hoses off the floor, as they really impede blowing the chips with compressed air to clean up.

Woodpecker: Can I ask if the table top (final) measurements of your table are 6’ x 6’? If those are actually your table top measurements what size is your actual base? It looks like you have roughly a 6" overhang around the table base. My Elite Foreman should arrive the first week of April and I am hoping to have everything together within a few days after it’s arrival. You mentioned that you purchased your VFD from Amazon (not sure if that included your spindle) and I am very interested in your spindle configurationas well. Thank you for posting your pictures. It is easy to see that you spent a considerable amount of time with your table build.

Good to know, the table I thought I would have started by now is planned for 6x6.

Was gonna be done by next weekend but the one last thing I need to put it togwther is stuck on a unicorn on its way from Loompa Land…
