Should I disable the tool setter when using: a Drag knife, plotter pen, vinyl cutter or Diamond Drags?

A more interesting point than i first thought.

For pen plotter i thought i would as the pen would retract before the setter responded. But on second thought it might be a way not to have to set the depth of “cut” as it were for the pen tool.

Diamond drag would be ok with the setter.

Not sure about the knife.

I guess that might include the surfacing bit too.

Good point. Depending on the size of your bit. My armana 1-1/4" surfacing bit works OK, just.
