My touch probe is off on the z axis. I checked the setting and the probe has the correct measurement. It is plunging the bit into the material approximately .64 inch deeper than it should. Looking for suggestions. Need to use the touch probe due to multiple bit changes.

Is your material the exact size that you entered?

It is set for material surface and and it is the set at the correct size.
Which controller are you using?
This is touch probe, not tool setter, correct?

Yes a touch probe and a BB controller
Is it possibly a metric versus imperial issue?
No checked numerous times.
How thick is the material you are using?
On your design software, how do have it set?
What depth are you trying to get to? If it’s set to do a pocket and you have your depth set at .64 and didn’t edit the passes, it’ll just go right to the bottom.
