Upgrade a 32"X to a 48" X (solved, yes through IPP)

I have a 32x32. if I upgrade to a 48” X rail does the processor have to be modified? cost? Software ? using 1f version 1.6.1

how much bench area is needed for a X 48” rail ? Looks like I will need to start over, My bench is 48”x50”

also need a price for the new X 48 rail

Hi Erik,
Regardless of what you buy, you should update your buildbotics controller to the latest and last firmware, 1.6.6 here:Onefinity CNC Firmware 1.6.6 (10/2/25) (X-35/X-50/Pro machines w/ BB Controller) (FINAL Firmware))

When swapping to a longer rail, just reset the configuration to the new size using the faq above.

You do not have to change post processors or files, since the controller type stays the same
