Where I want to be .... am I dreaming

Here is where I stand:

  • 1F Journeyman
    -running the Carbide Create Makita clone
  • QSW (secure from below)

What I want to do is:

  • Spin 1/2" shank bits
  • Automatic Tool Changer

I would prefer to do upgrades that do not have to be replace in less than 12 months. Thoughts?

Do I wait 6-9 months to see how this all shakes out.

  • Put in a 80mm Spindle on the journeyman to spin 1/2 shank bits (no matter what you’d do, you’d need that).

  • Buy a different brand to gain an ATC. We don’t have one.
