You need to fix support (solved, user error)

I have had my woodworker sense the kickstarter I have a few addons lasers and 3d prints. I went to fire it up yesterday and the touch screen was displaying but being unresponsive. I could still log in over IP and control BUT if i touch the touchscreen i could not log in over ip. I think its crashing the controller. it started showing signs of something being off a few months ago. like if i hit the stop on the screen or any command it would take 15-30 sec to respond but if i had my laptop and hit stop it would stop. one time the screen started flashing for no reason simple unplug replug worked so now i tend to use my laptop over ip. Anyway so i contact Onefinity support they tell me im plugged in wrong?¿? and will not help with any kind of real trouble shooting. I was planning on getting that new controller next month but i think at this point im going to stay away from onefinity until they can get a proper support team. get support and a supervisor that knows the difference from a 10" tab to a 7" tab

Keith,
The email response you reluctantly sent support proved you do not have the required power cable plugged in. We’ve sent you this faq 5 times pleading with you to read it, yet your responses prove you did not do so.

We’ve stated it over and over but will state it once more; you MUST have the power plug plugged in from the wall to the screen.

You’re picture (shown below) proves you do not have the power cable plugged in (as your 3d printed case completely covers it up).

We tried to show that to you with the forum faq, which we even copied and pasted to you in the follow up emails after your responses proved you were not reading the link we sent with the answer.

Here’s the picture that we copied out of the faq into the direct reply to your email (RED arrow is the power cord you are missing.

Good luck.

Support has even sent you a private video showing how things plug in on the 7" screen. Please review the video.

you had me watch how to install a 10" screen the 10" does require the extra power cable so you see how old this 3D Prints for the onefinitycnc This is how long that power cord has not been needed. anyone that would have printed that would have had this issue BACK THEN the 7" one is the one that i have. look at power requirements it only requires the usb for power for the 7" NOT THE 10"

Hi St0mp,
Respectfully, your information is incorrect, which is why you are having issues.

It’s why the FAQ exists. So many people were skipping the required power plug. The FAQ corrected them (you) to properly power the screen.

If you’d like to fix your issue, please follow the FAQ, the written instructions we sent, and the personalized video we sent you.

If not, we’re unable to help you further and you will continue to face your issue.

Good luck.

why does the same issue still exist even having the 3rd power lined in? oh that would be because it did not make a difference. can we find out if its the screen or plug or I hope not but controller?

Should i stay enrolled in the infinite possibilities program even though im not going to get that upgrade now?
