No it didn’t tell to do that

I saves the files from the original settings before I updated

I just tried reloaded them , but still locked up

Is there a fix or can I go back to the original version? I was having no problems before.

You can always go back to any firmware release.

Not sure of the ‘fix’ as you’ve not posted any relevant information (pics or video would be best) yet showing the ‘lock up’.

There isn’t nothing to post. After updating the Z axis will not move. There is nothing to show. Do you want me to send you the flashing alarm?

It’s best to actually email official support after you try downgrading the firmware and reloading the default settings.

Did anyone else had this problem after updating to v5.06? The problem only accord after updating. I did nothing else. What will you need because all I get is a z alarm.

I went back to v5.03 and the Z is working again. There is something wrong with the v5.06 firmware, or something they are not telling us. I went back and tried reloading v5.06 and it locked up the Z again. The is something in the new firmware that is causing it.

If that’s the case, create a ticket with masso so they can look into this issue with their firmware with you.

Thanks, I got the firmware updated. But Masso support wanted me to check with you on my X,Y,Z,B axis settings. Masso was thinking that they should all read No in the invert column? Mine read as follows, X yes, Y yes, Z No, B yes. The machine is working, but Masso noticed it in the settings as he was working with me on the firmware update. I have the Journeymen Elite Machine. Thanks,
Andrew
