Z Axis Lower Limit

Today, for the first time, when probing XYZ, the Z axis seemed to hit a lower limit when trying to probe for X. The motor tried to rotate the axis downward but there was obvious resistance. Same board thickness as previous attempts with no problem.

Here is a shot of the lower limit when manually rotating the X axis downward. The Z is mounted on the center mounts but that should not have any effect on the lower limit unless the router was touching the spoilboard…should it?

Am I truly at the limit or what could be hanging it up?
Thanks,
Bill

Perhaps I should have stated this is a Woodworker X-50.

Check the z axis mounting bolt. Most likely loose and the bearings are hitting them and it’s preventingg it from going all the way down.
