Hey! Thanks for the response. I believe I installed it correctly. I had the Z slider stop once or twice when powering off. It just wasn’t consistent.

Don’t think a wiring issue would cause the break to not set on power off. If the break stayed on under power, then maybe wiring. The break requires power to release.

Loren, did you purchase a separate break motor for z? The z motor that comes with the machine doesn’t have a break.
