How about increasing the diameter just a bit.? I’d like to use an Hitachi M12 router, need 83mm.

The specs seem the same so it should be fine as a replacement - the Journeyman uses a higher torque version on the X axis I believe (not sure which machine you have). Also, the one Onefinity sells is less than $2 more, so depending on where you live, shipping costs may determine which is the better value, assuming stock availability is equal.
Did one of you steppers stop working, and you are out of the warranty period?
