Would there be a 4th axis rotary in the works for the original series Machinist X35? I keep my machine in the spare room and loved the small footprint.
No. There is basically no room to cut on something that short.
When in January is the Revolution going to start to ship?
shipping info page estimates they will start on the 25th.
Just says First units ship late Jan 25
they said this in 2024, So I would assume late Jan 2025, Not on the 25th of January. We don’t have that much time to go honestly.
I wish they would go ahead and release the manual, No reason i can see as to why they don’t.
We have to finish it first
Just released 1.6 firmware for rotary on bb controllers today. Getting closer!
Oh Well, I guess thats a reason to not have released it then.
No worries, Just excited. ready to read something darn it. lol
Has anyone got a shipping notice yet?
I ordered within 15 minutes of release and have not received a shipping notice yet. Just curious.
I know nothing, but I would bet on 2nd week of February.
I ordered within a minute of release and nothing yet. It would have been nice to receive an email about delayed release time…
OK, anxious to get started! Are they shipping yet!!?!?!?
Hours away from February we need all new videos on everything and announcement of ATC dust boot!
I’m wondering since we pre-ordered fourth axis in November, does the new tariffs placed on Canada affect the price if we haven’t received it yet?
Good news - Onefinity covered this on 01/31/2025. You can see their announcement at https://www.onefinitycnc.com/post/an-important-message-about-potential-usa-tariffs
It does make me wonder about their profit margins if they can absorb a 25% tariff without raising the price
Thanks I must have missed this post
I think this is more of a guarantee on current orders. I would guess it would eat most of their profit on those orders, but it is better than risking people not ordering.
They are still making extremely good profit over Canadians orders, believe me. Charged $40 US shipping for a tiny box with bits from Ontario to Manitoba by Canada post that cost $5-10 CAN to ship. They should respect more their fellows Canadians….
