Is anyone using a digitizing probe to duplicate objects? If so, which brand and how accurate is the process?
When I researched this it usually came down to the software and how well it created and manipulated the point cloud data generated.
From what I learned using a scanning type system was the way to go for both speed and accuracy. Many were being introduced that might be considered ‘somewhat’ affordable.
Thanks for the reply. I’m still looking but so far nothing I have found seems to fit the bill. ‘Somewhat Affordable’ appears to be ‘somewhat’ out of the ballpark for now. Still looking.
I am just starting to think about doing something like this. Is there a way in the Masso controller to generate a file containing the points found in a probing cycle, maybe even just a .csv file?
