Elite Table Builds (w/ Redline)

There is an Elite Table Builds in (Elite w/ Masso), and I know there is no difference AIRT the table build. But I thought there should be an Elite Table Builts in Elite w/ Redline category.

I just “finished” mine. Torsion box top 71”x71”. I don’t have a table saw. So it would have been challenging to cut ribs from plywood. So I asked ChatGPT for good alternatives: the best suggestion was 1x3 furring strips.

Torsion box is mounted on top of a 44” x 44” pedestal made from 4x4s and 2x6s. I went with a modified half lap. The end result is very rigid.

The main part of the surface is 5’x5’ 1/2” Baltic Birch. There is an extra 5” all the way around to ensure the stepper motors don’t stick out. My cables run through this area. I am also using this space for storage: I just have removable cover with finger hole. It’s easier than making drawers.

VERY nice. I already had a Kreg table with my Pro Journeyman and just went with that. I’ll post some pics eventually.

Sorry for the delay, and sorry for the mess but here it is. I made sure to brace the upper joists to the lower plywood panel, however I should also brace them to the floor to prevent sag.
