I have been using my onefinity fine for the last year with no troubles over wifi but when i turned my machine on today it took a longer than normal time to boot up and it wont find any wifi signals it just keeps saying its searching.
Just had the same problem. Working with 1.2.1 ver. of software. Also have “doesn’t appear to be g code “ error trying to run file I cut the day before. Putting in a range extender solved the one problem, working on the g code error now. Hope this helps you out.
Cheers. I am already running a range extender so hopefully next time I try i can sort something out
Computer components, especially networking equipment have what is called MTBF. Things like routers, switches, extenders, and computers degrade over time simply because they are constantly running and just like forest gump when he runs back n forth and then on a road in utah says “I’m tired, i think I’m going to go home.”
Going to a hardline would be the best way to alleviate the wifi problems because while switches also have a MTBF your unlikely to notice the signal degregation because of little to no Attenuation. .
There are several possible causes of your problem, and they may result in replace network hardware, especially if nothing changed (adding more wifi devices to the network does not mean nothing changed)
Alternatively you can look into a Powerline adapter. .
While i have no experience with them, they basically put network signal thru a power line and sound like a viable solution.
