I am still very new to the x50 and cnc over all. I’m using carbide create and my last pass is the full with of my 1/4” bit. It sounded hideous but I’m not sure what to change to make this smaller. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I attached a video for reference.

Can you change the step-over amount for the tool setup? I don’t use Carbide Create, so look at the tool feeds and speeds setup.

It also appears that you are making a pass at the full depth of your material. My rule of thumb is pass depth = 1/2 bit diameter, i.e. 1/8" for a 1/4" diameter bit. Worth a look.

Thank you both. I’ll try to figure out the step over.
The passes are generally within the recommendation for the cut but that final pass goes full depth and is way too wide.
I’ll see if I can figure I hurt a smaller step over for the final pass.
