I turned on the black box controller, the usual screen came on and asked if I wanted to home. I cancelled that and the monitor started flashing on and off, mostly off, leaving a black screen. I was able to move the router with the joy stick. The monitor never came on long enough for me to properly shut the machine down. I had to use the e-stop button to turn the controller off, though the joy stick indicator light never did turn off. The 1F was the only machine running. What do I need to do to get the 1F running again? I have run a number of jobs on this machine before.
Thanks for your help.

After checking for loose wires, the first thing I would try is swapping out the power brick that powers the screen. I know in our household we have a bunch of these things kicking around.
The one that came with my Woodworker Pro is rated for 5 volts @ 3 amps. Read the fine print on yours to check its rating and match the replacement to it.

About a year ago, I had the same issues with my screen. Tried changing all the cords with no help. Finally just got rid of it and added my own bigger screen. Never had any trouble after that.
Make sure you’re turning the screen on BEFORE turning on the controller (black box). This allows the controller to detect the screen and determine which resolution to display in as well.
I can’t find an on/off switch on the 10.8” monitor. Is power controlled by simply plugging it in? Thanks.
