Holiday Special ordering question

Hi all. New to this forum and in the market for a CNC. I am looking at the https://www.onefinitycnc.com/product-page/holiday-elite-special-journeyman-48-x32-cut-area. Is this a good deal? Do I need to add anything else? Does it come with a table or am I building one? How do I decide between the 2 spindle options and the VDF? Very confusing and since only have a few days to decide and place an order, wanted to get some feedback from this forum.
Also, I am OK with space, do you recommend the 48x48 or the 48x 32 will be a better unit since it will handle full sheet width.

Thank you

Best is a vfd If you have the power do 2.2KW er20 and do the elite foreman 48 by 48, also get the stiffy rail, No table , a lot of us like to dyi our tables but you can buy one too

Is this the spindle onefinity sells? Isn’t air cooled easier to maintain? Seems like the holiday special hey have includes their spindle. Thanks for the info and the feedback.

So yes that spindle is new for 1F I would say a air cool spindle is just a lot easier overall no water cooling system to get and set up, should be a great start for you. I build custom water cool systems for cnc machines

Another quick question, since they are closed till the 6th and the offer ends on the 6th, I cant ask the question to the Onefinity team.

The sales bundle for the Elite 48x48 has an option to chose the VFD mount and gives 3 options:
Wall Mount
Desktop Mount
QCW/Under Table Mount

Regardless of which I select, the price is same. Is that an error? Also, the bundle description does not include the QCV; when added to the cart, it is still not added. Also, it seems like the under-table mount will be very hard to use due to the weight of this machine. I am thinking about using a 48x48 Kreg frame. Does that mean I can access it from below? Than I lose all the storage space under the machine. Also, I wonder if I can pay the difference and get the QCW Secure from the above frame. Sorry, this isn’t very clear. Thanks for all the help. I wish they were open to asking these presales questions.

it’s not an error, its the same cost no matter which mount you select. this ‘mount’ is how you mount the VFD (box that makes the spindle rotate), NOT the qcw frame itself. The ‘qcw mount’ referenced for the spindle is a mount designed to attach to the qcw underside.

Check out the spindle manual for more details!

QCW is an add on item.
