What software are you using I think you can import a stl direct into vcarve

I’m using Carbide create and Light burn for the laser. Guess I’ll have to look into VCarve.

I’m not sure but sign up for a free trial you can then see the look and feel of it, it’s fully functional bar the important part of saving the tool path/gcode :wink:

You can import STL files into Fusion360, then CAM them up there as well.

thats what I do, decently easily to learn. has a preview view of what your cut will look like. If you have experience with cad modeling this is your best bet

meshcam (from makers of carbide create). Import STL directly and start carving. Its $250 and extremely easy to use.
