How to LOCK your CNC up in three easy steps

  1. Turn on CNC
  2. Tap “Home All”
  3. Tap “Jog Home” (Round target in center of jog control)

Result: Machine locks up… no further movement can be made. 100% reproducible

Environment:
HMI Controller
FW: 1.6.3

This is not a major crippling effect…it was just discovered by accident. The referenced clip below clearly demonstrates the issue.

Certainly looks like a bug (an doesn’t practically make sense as your returning to the same spot it’s already at :slight_smile: )

We’ve reproduced it and will get with the @RTCNC to implament a fix.

PS: You can push the ABORT button in the upper right to get out of the hung state.

True…doesn’t make sense except if you might have been side tracked and just wanted to verify.

It could be a bit more gracefully handled…either do nothing if already at home or just ignore.
