How to rout power cord

Hi all;

I have an original woodworker. How is everybody routing their power cord from the Makita. Is it a good idea to put it in the curly cord for the Z axis? I will do drag chains eventually, but in the mean time, what is the best way to rout the cord?

Here is how I did it - combined with dust hose. One of the first things I made. Important to keep it away from Z axis cable because of electro-magnetic interferance (EMI)
