I'm a Fan of MPG Pendants

I ordered an MPG style pendant from Masso to go with the Masso G3 Touch that comes on the new Elite Foreman router I ordered from Onefinity. I just ordered it a couple days ago and its here already. It arrived yesterday (10/31/2024). I ordered it on 10/28/2024.

3 days from Australia to Arizona, USA. That is freaking quick.

I’ve got several VistaCNC pendants for my other machines and I have tried a number of various jog devices in the past. I like pendants. This one is not outrageously priced. It’s not cheap like those pendants on eBay from China with the bubble switches that wear out fairly quickly, but its not bad. Driverless plug-n-play is a big selling point too. I hope it works as well as their shipping is quick.

It comes with a magnetic back AND a hanger hook. Nice.

I have the Masso MPG and it works perfectly. You will need to remove the plastic cover from the plug so it will fit when you close the control door.
Check the install instructions as you need to move one wire on the control in order for the E-stop to work.

I just got my cnc and I am in process of putting the finial touches (dust collector hose routing, traming etc) but ahead of my delivery, I knew I wanted the pendant like many others have raved about. But seeing the issue with install, I went searching online for a a solution and I found one, that fits perfectly and still allows the door to close. [IMG_1108]

Wanted to toss the link to what I found an a picture, back out there in case you were interested. It works great and the cover still closes perfectly.

Does anyone know if the pendant holder attaches directly to the Masso? I don’t have a wooden bench to attach it too as I’m using the QCW and foreman stand. There’s nothing in the manual about the pendant attaching to the Masso

Attach that holder bracket you have circled to the front rail of the QCW using one of the existing cap screws on the QCW.

@northrup and @HardtailSr I’m pretty sure that is an MPG that @Woodpecker is working on and is teasing us with a bit. Maybe not wanting to actually promote it yet as it is a work in progress.

My New MPG Design

Well, Completed my MPG today and I will never go back to control with touch. A great tool for job set up, Also can trigger “Home” machine and “Park” Machine, still need to get labels made. Top button is “Home” and bottom is “Park” SO GOOD!! This is a 24voltage design by the way to directly support masso. [main_mpg] [front_mpg]

I have been crushing on it since placing my order in January. Guess he will have plenty of time to finish them before I will be needing one.

I deleted the link cuz on further inspection that MPG is 5v, not the 24v the Masso runs.
