MASSO stepper motors wont turn

Hi everyone, I am having some very weird problem with my stepper motors, they wont turn green or red at all when I turn the machine on. If I try to home the machine nothing happens but the masso screen says its homing.

If the controller has power and is working - as shown by the DRO change, etc…but the motors have no power, it may be that the fuse(s) need to be checked/replaced.

I believe the manual covers where they are located, the type, and how to replace them.

It’s strange that the carriage is not moving, but the Z position on the screen is changing.

Out of curiosity, in the Homing setup screen, select the X and Y axes in sequence 1, so they aren’t waiting for the Z axis to complete. This won’t fix your issue, but it might suggest the issue is limited to the Z axis.

Try swapping the x motor with the z motor and vice versa and see if the issue follows the motor or stays on the z axis.

It stays on the same axis

Aren’t all the motors meant to have a green or red light continuously? Mine aren’t indicating anything ever

Have you tried modifying the homing sequence, so it does the Z-axis last? If you can get it to move in X and/or Y, then Onefinity can focus on troubleshooting the issue with the Z homing. Also, can you record another video of your screen. It’s strange to me that in your first video the Z position was changing on the screen when the gantry was not moving. This should not be occurring in a closed loop system, unless the motor was incorrectly reporting that it was turning.
