Masso touchscreen not responding (solved, bad usb flash drive)

I used my Foreman Elite earlier today, and it worked fine. I tried to set up another job, and all of a sudden, the touchscreen wasn’t responding. Sometimes, eventually, it will respond, but it takes a while. I can’t even select different modes and such. I’ve powered down several times with no change. I have no idea where to start. All of my connections are good. I’d appreciate any input.

Thanks!

I figured it out.

It was a bad flash drive. It’s weird because I noticed the problem when I inserted a new flash drive with my cut files. I know that the files were there. I kept hitting Load File, and nothing happened. Then I noticed that none of my screen inputs were being accepted. A short time later, I got a message that said no USB device inserted, but there was.

I couldn’t figure it out and went to the Masso forums. A short time later, I got a reply telling me to try a different flash drive. I did, and it worked.

same thing happened to me when my machine was only a month old, The Flash Drive that came with machine stopped working. I think they are poor quality. But i put in a better one and never had a problem again.

Yep, I had nothing but trouble with the flash drive that came with my CNC. It constantly disconnected. I started using a better one and haven’t had any problems since. They need to supply a quality flash drive for the money we pay for the machines.
