If you purchased a new Redline Spindle, and was wondering what to do with your Makita router…
I can dial 10mm, 1mm and 0.01mm per step 0.01 is overkill, of course. I should probably switch it to 0.1mm - but it IS that accurate. It has a ‘Change Bit’ that raising the router far enough so I don’t have to remove the router to change the bit.
That’s a beautiful thing, and I’ll bet it could be adapted to my commercial, hand-cranked router lift. Would you share some of the details? (Processor, etc.)
That’s pretty cool, I was thinking of putting a router into the bed of my CNC so I could remove a piece of waste board and have a router and a slot for vertical milling for things like drawer finger joints. do you mind sharing the hardware etc. that you used?
