New Foreman not machining properly

I’ve sent this to support, but am hoping that someone might have an idea.

I have been setting up a new Elite Foreman over the past couple of weeks or so. I’ve followed the setup video.

All seems to be fine until I try machining. I’m finding that the path of the cuts is not correct.

For the past two weeks or so, I had figured that I was doing something wrong in the CAD side of things, but I finally tried cutting the “Onefinity Elite Test Carve.nc” file – the same one that’s used before the machine is shipped out, and it’s definitely wonky as you can see in the photo:

I have no idea what else to try.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
–James

Did you remove the red bushings from the motor couplers when installing the motors? They are not packing material.

I was VERY impressed that support got back to me on a Saturday afternoon and we managed to get it all dealt with.

Apparently, my assistant removed all of the ‘packing materials’ including the motor cushions. Once those were reinstalled, all worked perfectly.

Now to deal with my poor CAD skills!
