Not homing to front left

Hello all,

For some reason when i reboot my machine and say yes to home. It no longer goes to the front left. I goes somewhere to the right. How can i tell the machine were home is located?

When i click home it starts going to the right. I can seem to correct this issue. I watched the current stall and no matter what it still wants to go to the right. Also my remove is not matching sometimes when i left, it goes right. I have to stop and try a few times but then it will go left. I am very annoyed with this machine, i wonder if i should have bought another brand.

you have four wires that go to a stepper motor, that go to two coils (coil arrays in fact). If one of the wires is failing, it can have the effect that the motor runs into wrong direction. You have a cable or connector issue. Is the machine old or new?

Note: Any time the axis moves in the opposite direction than what you direct it to, it’s 100% of the time a bad wire/connection. Sometimes, something as simple as disconnecting and reconnecting the wires connection solves it. Follow below for more help and examples.

in its stock configuration, the Onefinity Standard Series with their connectors with missing serious cable management and even strain relief and the unshielded stepper cables may have unexpected position change issues during operation due to connector problems, or due to introduced EMI. I replaced the x cable and all is working as expected. Thanks everyone!
