Has anyone investigated https://planet-cnc.com controller and software for use on a OneFinity machine? I downloaded the software and played with it and am duly impressed. It is the most comprehensive and complete feature set I have seen yet.
It looks interesting. In a laser discussion I remember @pZq mentioned using it. I believe he is a European user.
I’ve considered a controller upgrade, mostly Acorn, but it’s probably not going to happen anytime soon. If you go with PlanetCnc I’m sure a number of us would be interested in hearing about your experience.
I use it for laser and routing. I use mk3/4 controller with closed loop motors on a custom cnc. But should work with onefinity as long as you hook drivers between steppers and controller. Closed loop motors have integrated drivers.
