Has anyone else had the ERROR: “SAFETY SWITCH NOT RECOGNIZED”
And if so, what am I doing to create this? It has happened about 3 times now and the emergency switch will be blinking to where I have to reset it by touching it twice and then restart the machine or it wont move. It usually happens between tool changes if I recall. I am another one who is new to all of this.
I’ve not run into a problem like this but is there any chance there’s a static discharge between yourself and the machine while your changing the bit? I think someone mentioned a similar problem due to static discharge from their dust collector through them to the Onefinity.
Thanks for a possible cause to the problem Derek, I will try to keep a better eye on my surroundings as I’m working on it. I haven’t hooked up a vacuum to it yet though but it will still create a charge with the dust particles I would think.
