Shipping timetable

…because reading and responding to countless emails about it is way more efficient than a single post on the forum once every week or two.

Totally agree. I don’t understand this method of customer service. And marking it solved isn’t exactly accurate

Maybe he wants to put some pressure.

omc-stepperonline.com offers servo, stepper, BLDC motors and diverse drivers, acessories, etc.

My order is 52988 and is supposed to be in next weeks production run.

That’s what they said in an email I got this morning.
I hope they are being straight.
I’d rather wait longer and get it when promised than get told next week for a month.

Orders 51xxx should expect a tracking for spindles by Friday, 28th

Fair point, but I do IT professionally and we certainly wouldn’t operate our many service desks in a way to encourage MORE tickets

Since my original order, I’ve spoken on the phone a couple of times and sent a couple of emails about it and other orders.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been pleasant and I think they really are giving it their best effort. That said, I suspect this has been a lesson on supply chain management and vendor selection that won’t soon be forgotten.

While it can be (and has been) pretty frustrating to wait, I try to imagine how I would respond if I were in their shoes and extend the grace that I would want. Who knows, maybe that patience and grace will be returned in the form of some swag like a ball cap or a t-shirt…not that I’m trying to put ideas into anyone’s head or anything like that…

Has anyone heard anything about the ATC’s shipping other than what was “late February”

The preorder for our ATCs was originally estimated to begin shipping at the end of February. However, we are still waiting on a few parts, and it now looks like shipments may begin in March.

The first units will start shipping with order numbers 51xxx, which we aim to fulfill by March/April. Orders 52xxx are expected to follow in April, 53xxx in May, and 54xxx+ in June. As we ramp up production, we hope to shorten lead times for orders 53xxx–54xxx+ before June.

Thanks for the feedback

51xxx machines have already shipped out. This is for any atc orders with or without a machine that were in the 51xxx

Hi WC,
Not always. There are some outside factors (IE: During November when we offered the spindle we retroactively offered those whose machines shipped out in November . For those users, they placed their orders. These users technically were in the ‘beginning’ of the queue, however, we made manual orders for their spindle only and their order numbers could be 52xxx, 53xxx, 54xxx… so if you just go off of order numbers from say here or Facebook without knowing all the information it would look like were jumbling all over.)
Generally, we are shipping in order. IE: 51001, 51002, etc…

The best way to get information about your (any specific customer) estimated shipping date would be to email info@onefinitycnc.com, as you mentioned in your first post.

any news on when the ATC can be expected to ship?

Same here. We would have been on the street had we operated that way.

I think what everyone is trying not to say, ( as 1F support is really very good compared to industry standards these days), is that a better approach may have been to have solid committments on the supply side before launching so much in an effort to bring the year end revenue. Pre-orders are one thing, delayed fulfillment is another. I cant imagine its a money issue, seems to be plenty of that being provided. This is the only company I have dealt with in a long time that takes the money up front without accountability for delayed shipping. This isn’t kickstarter. Aside from all that, I like the equipment and i like the support. Can’t have everything…

Not that uncommon. I’m waiting on a whole house generator install. I went into it expecting a month’s delay between paying 1/2 down (basically all the equipment) and install. A month in and now I’m scheduled 60 days out. They have my 8K and I have to wait.

Heck my new band saw is almost a month between purchase & delivery.

Amazon has spoiled us in terms of expectations.

And here I was at number 54xxx thinking I would be getting my 7 thousand dollar + order in April and here I see it is now June? Feb 1st placed order. I just hope I will get everything I ordered at that time. Elite machine, revolution, ATC/tool setter, and spindle. whew! 5 months interest free loan while I am paying the interest on the credit card, Ok I have bitched enough lol. I still love onefinity. I am just disappointed in the delay.

Oh, I get it. I have experienced the same in the past. Almost everything I buy is paid in full prior to shipping as is the practice of amazon. But, excessive shipping delay for items that are not custom builds should not be responsible for covering the manufacturers cash flow without a proven track record of delivery. Just my stance.
