had a little accident this morning. I forgot to attach the magnet and proceeded to probe for z. of course the vbit did not stop and when I realized my mistake I hit the estop I was able to raise the z and redo the probe and it worked fine but when I hit rewind and cycle start the machine as usual went to the tool setter tried to unload the tool I had in it and the spindle would not run I redid this several times powered off and back on a few times as well. the green light was on the spindle motor but the darned thing would not come on. I switched the vfd to manual and i could get the spindle to come on. switched back to automatic i guess you call it. rewind again and cycle start an all of a sudden it was working again I have no idea what was going on. can anyone explain it?
