I wonder if anyone can help me. When I load a file to cut and ready to press start I push the start button and the router moves back to zero and just sits there. I sometimes need to hit the start button again the it starts to cut. I have had to even reload the file to start cutting.

are you probing xyz at your material origin first?
I have zeroed to the corner I move the router back to slip on the dust boot then hit start. It comes back to zero location and just sits I pus start again and it will move a bit then stop.
I noticed on mine if I move the Z axis or any axis for that matter after zeroing it doesn’t seem to work as well.
on mine when I zero using the probe, the machine moves the router just off the 0 point I probed on. The Z axis also backs off a bit. I have space then to add my boot, being careful not to accidentally hit my controller. I turn on the router at the point and hit play.
if you do this are you still seeing the weird behavior?
