Testing the CW and CWW of the Masso to trigger the Router Relay (FAQ)

There is only one CW output on MASSO and it cannot be reassigned to another output.

Troubleshooting steps

Save your printable file from the F1 lower left column. Confirm these settings are correct.

No matter what type of problem you have this is one of the most useful things you can do especially as Onefinity machines have well defined parameters so analysis of the file is not really needed.

On the F2 screen press the CW button

Go to the F1 screen and look at the top left output which is called Spindle CW

It should show High to indicate that it is now on as seen below

If you have a voltmeter you can remove the wire from spindle control pin 2 and then measure the voltage between Spindle Control Pin 2 and one of the Black GND terminals.

You should see 3 volts when the output is high and 0v when the output is low.

You can compare it to Spindle control pin 3 which is the Spindle CCW output when you set the spindle to CCW.

You should get the same readings on both. If you do then the MASSO output is good.

An additional test you can do or if you do not have a meter you can also do this:

The Flood coolant output is on TTL output 18 (3 terminals to the left of spindle control pin 2)

Since you know that this is good you can move the wire from TTL output 18 to spindle control pin 2 and the other output in the control box should turn on and off with the spindle CW button

This will prove if the spindle CW on MASSO is working correctly and if it is then a wiring issue may be the problem.
