Y axis skipping on design

Good morning-

I am having an issue with the y-axis skipping on one file (f-clamp holder with brackets). This is a design I exported as a svg from carbide 3d to vcarve. The first 1/2 of the file runs fine (the brackets), and then the y-axis starts the 2nd half (the holder), it skips and then resets home and won’t come back to zero. So it walks back 4” every slot and can’t come forward.

Immediately shut down, and cleaned y ball nuts per onefinity maintenance video (they were fairly clean). Rehomed fine. Restarted file, same issue.

I have checked the g-code, did previews in vcarve and nc viewer, and nothing shows this. I have run 4-5 other projects correctly since then. I also copied the slotted part into a new file, made new g-code, and it did the same issue. Not until I redrew the file line for line did it run correctly. Do I’m thinking this is a file issue, but can’t find any problems in vcarve.

I can’t log in on my computer so I can’t post the file right now, if I can get in I’ll edit my post.

Any ideas?
