Hi all
I am fairly new at this but have had my OF for about a year now. Everything was great until I upgraded the firmware from 1.09 to 1.2.1. Everything is good but after the upgrade the Z axis only goes halfway down. It doesnt hit the wasteboard. I have tried re-installing the firmware, cleaning the rails and I am running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
Photos show the minimum height and Z position is -6.299.
Have you “re-homed” the system since the install?
Unfortunately yes quite a few times. It seems to home with no troubles but after it is completed I can’t get the z axis to come down far enough to start my next job.
Ouch. Since it occurred after the firmware update. Have you tried reflashing the firmware? Very carefully following all the steps outlined in the process? It’s not a terribly difficult process.
I have had the same problem…The only solution I can find is after homing the machine, I push the setting icon and unhome the z axis and it returns to normal operation. I would love to find a fix for this.
