I’ve ordered the 7W laser for my OF woodworker and it will be here in a week. I anticipate a lot of blended projects that use both cutters and laser.
Have you found that the mounting for laser is repeatable enough that I can determine an exact offset from the cutter’s XY that can reliably be applied to the laser each time I detach/reattach it? Eyeballing the laser to an arbitrary point each time one switches between cutter and laser seems like it would be time consuming and subject to error.
If you would care to share a procedure/jig/magic incantation that works for you, I’d be most appreciative.
