Thank you for the information, Aiph5u. I have downloaded the Linux included install and the documentation which will make good reading material.
The best we have gotten from our Win11/ Mach3 arrangement was to get the stepper trial motor to jitter a little. My son Ryan is a big-time Linux user so, he sounded really happy to be getting to replace the computer’s OS. It might be after the new year but I’ll post our results.

Just curious on the " 2.0.0 Alpha 3 BB Firmware (latest beta, 6/23/23)" are there any updates? Its nice to have an announcement back in June of 2023 is there any updates or is it a dead duck?
It has been a long time. Please don’t abandon this project. There are a lot of us unable to re-buy into the new elite platform. This could be an outstanding way to show appreciation for the early adopting hobbyists with smaller budgets.
Current plan is to nail down 1.4 (macros, alpha 1 out now), move to 1.5 File Management, then 1.5.1 or 1.6 that would remember some things after an estop/reboot. Once done, back to 2.0.
Sounds like a great plan… seems to only make sense to change HW platforms if the platform no longer supports the software or if they cease production…
We are now at version 1.5 beta2, is this firmware 2.0.0 going to be the next version? do we have an approximate ETA?
I would love to swap out the RPi 3 with a RPi4 or even 5!
