sure, but the Terms of Service apply to the OnefinityCNC forum service and the contents. But they do not apply to the technology that the forum offeror chose to make available their service and their contents.
The rest is talking about the service itself, which of course, is a contract between the offeror and the user, but which can be very different, as a comparison of the terms of service of different services quickly shows.
The type and quality of the Service that Onefinity CNC offers here is one where to offeror chose to first of all provide contents mainly by making them available in the World Wide Web. Such a decision is based on the interests of the offeror of the service, which is Onefinity CNC themselves, and their interests is to sell their CNC machines. An even if this forum may be hosted by discourse, it is Onefinity CNC that is the offeror and contract partner for the service.
With facebook, more than entering into a contract for a service provided by Onefinity CNC, first of all you have to enter into a contract with facebook (and by the way, Onefinity CNC has to, too). This is a big difference, because facebook’s interests are very different from Onefinity CNC’s.

I’m not on FB and the “commercial” communities I know of are slowly winding DOWN from FB as members are leaving every day.
But then they are not companies in the hyper growth phase like 1F.
When the dust settles - this Forum or a replacement will be where the traffic is - and while I do understand the need for some FB presence.
I have NO idea why companies willingly are GIVING away their user-base to FB - to use for advertising. It will only take an competitor / advertiser 10 minutes to direct an advert to all 1F users. Highly targeted = highly effective.
It is not much different than giving FB your wallet and pin-codes, the front-door keys plus the passwords for your bank accounts.

Same for me I got my email last week letting me know it’s has a shipping label. Order #34953 which was ordered back in November. Which is cool. Just got a text message saying that the shipment has been postponed bue to address or something. Don’t know why when the email I got has the correct address for it. So I’ll just wait and see it it was a spam text message or a real text message from 1infiity/ups. Kind of a suspicious message and how would they even know my phone number. Just weird.
End of May? Dang I hope mine won’t take that long. When did you order? I ordered 11/29 and my order is 34833 or 34…I can’t remember which. I haven’t emailed but was expecting more like end of March at the latest, since it’s week 18 this week.

It prob got pushed back as I’ve changed my cnc config from 65mm spindle mount to 80mm.
Originally I’ve ordered my machine with 65mm spindle mount, then my wife surprised me with 80mm spindle (early march), so I emailed 1F team to see if they could change my order to 80mm, and they did. So I’m thinking it has something to do with that.

Perhaps that’s it. Not sure how involved that change is. I actually did the same thing but made the change back in December. I appreciate you responding!
I made that same change and got my Woodworker right at 16 weeks from order time

I know my email said mid to late May, but I’m just hopping there would be an early surprise! 
Glad to hear Jim is getting his Elite. My order number is #38456. I’m still looking at August or September but that gives me plenty of time to try and figure out what I have to do to figure out how to do what ever it is I decide to do. LOL I am the total old rookie, with 0 experience and very little wood working experience as well. I am grateful for this group. You all have helped me with so many rookie questions, thanks and I too agree that I personally like having this one place to come and ask question. Thanks again to all, and Happy Easter.

My order number is 34477 and I have not received anything from them.
@ChrisS After I changed my spindle mount on my machine I asked them if they knew ETA of my machine. So they gave me that estimate.

Eddie is order 34430 and yours is 34630 and they told you at the end of May. Mine is 34477 and I have not received mine. So in 2 months time they will fulfill 200 orders if they keep on schedule. I feel sorry for the the guys 600-1000 orders out. At this rate they may receive their order by the end of the year.
