Go Avs! From Bama but they are my favorite team. Been a fan since 1998.

This looks good. What endmills/bits did you use? I just got my Onefinity yesterday, and I want to make a thinline strat. Probably won’t be my first project but that is my goal.

I made my mom something she’s brought up as an idea a few times, a lazy suzan for their kitchen table (not shown). The petals have double-sided cork inlays — left slightly proud — with laser engraved farmhouse designs. The petals can be removed for use as individual hot pads or for cleaning and have big neodymium magnets to hold them in place when slotted. The center does not rotate, only the outer ring. I still need to do a bit of clean-up work, but it’s mostly there.

The Cut

Almost Ready For Epoxy

Ready For Epoxy

Epoxy Time

Finished Charcuterie Board. White Oak with Black Walnut, Apple, and Poplar Inlays.
I use Pure Tung Oil because it gives a nicer longer lasting finish than mineral oil. I’ve gotten minor complaints that mineral oil needs to be reapplied after every use.

Skipped the layout pictures and went straight to cut.

Sealing the end grain with clear epoxy. Disappointing when epoxy color leeches into surrounding wood

Needs a wee bit more sanding then it’s ready for Tung Oil Finish. I use Pure Tung Oil because it gives a nicer longer lasting finish than mineral oil. I’ve gotten minor complaints that mineral oil needs to be reapplied after every use.

Great that you’ve gone out on a limb (pun intended) on this design!

This year’s Christmas project made of cherry.

Made a bootjack. Didn’t know what one was but now that I have one I find it pretty handy. All made with the 1F and utilized VCarves 2 sided options. Backside just has a slot for the stand.

That is incredible! The grains are perfect. You should be very proud! Congratulations.

Finally finished the barn. My wife is going to be thrilled to have the table back… And just in time for today’s Christmas party delivery.

Nicely done!
Interestingly, I made a similar one Friday morning. I’ve always wanted one but was too cheap to spend $20+ for a board to pull off my boots. Quick browse of the internet for a few .svg files plus a scrap board and bingo. I made mine with the stand a little bit farther forward than yours.

Made a battery organizer from an old pistol case and 2 bamboo cutting boards from Dollar Tree

Luckily the depth of the case was exactly the height of a D cell battery

Good idea. Did you cut the outside shape on the cnc?

Really makes you wonder how much the guy who made the bamboo cutting board made on it.

I did! Just careful measuring with the calipers and I somehow got the radiuses just about spot on.

are you running the vertical cutout parallel to the x or y access? I have changed just recently to a vertical clamp at the front of the machine running parallel with the x axis so not sure if we have the same setup.

Yes sir mine runs in the front parallel of the x axis

Love projects with utility. Great idea. Thanks for the share.

40 years as a carpenter, newbie to CNC, love it, Onefinity is a great CNC.
I love your work.
I am trying to learn how to do this.
This is the video you recommended: How to do TEXT on TEXT using Vectric aspire. - How to Make this popular text on text sign that sells - YouTube

PS Where does everyone get free vectors from? For example I would like to make a family cabin sign but need a rough slab type vector to carve name into and cut out.

Thank you
