hello, untill yesterday i never had this issue; now its all the time. Use too i hit the shut down on the screen like your supposed to it would shut everything off. Now i do it everything shuts off but my screen. It flashes different colors and never shuts off. I was cleanning my ball screws yesterday and the power cord to my screen was in the way so i unplugged it. when done i powered up my cnc but had forgot to plug the power cord for the screen back in. Now its not synced i guess. can someone help me figure this out. I don’t want to have to unplugg the screen every time i shut down. thanks
Hey Troy,
you seem to have the “controller rebooting because backfed through monitor USB power” issue. If after shutdown, your screen shows this:
…this means the controller is already powered down but some power is backfed through the monitor’s USB cable to the controller. The controller reboots then, but the power is not sufficient to complete the bootup.
- Controller not turning off when powering down due to backfeeding of the screens power to the controller

thanks for the info but im not having any issues have seen the backfeed to controller and such but im not having any of those issues. Just only issue i have now is i have to power on and off the screen when i did not have too yesterday. thanks for the info though.
I have a similar issue and did not have it until the latest version upgrade. My screen freezes after turn off and looks similar but says booting. I was told that is normal and can shut down after that. Maybe the next version will allow it to totally shutdown.
my equpiment started working right again after i reboot the controller again.
