Got an email from BORDERWORX with tracking. Now my only problem is I’m working the day its supposed to be delivered. Whats the fun in that?

I thought I heard you cough just now. Perhaps you might want to call in sick. Wouldn’t want to spread a cold around work.

Oh don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind.

There you go again. You really should do something about that cough

Take a “preventative mental health day” ; you’d be so stressed out about not being home for your delivery you wouldn’t be able to focus on your work.

When it actually gets to moving and its still going to be delivered on a day I work next week I’m probably just going have to take a sick day.

Order #23947 - Ordered Dec 2nd, A woodworker X50.
Just got the UPS Notification from Borderworx that delivery is scheduled 12/24/21

Couple comments

  1. I thought this was a whole lot farther out! I don’t have a table built…
  2. Assuming I did not somehow ‘jump the line’…OneFinity has really improved leadtime and availability from earlier this year.

Thank You!

Woah!

I’m order 22975 for a Journeyman and still waiting.
Maybe only part of your order is shipping?

Less than 4-week wait is definitely unexpected.
Let us know what arrives!

any woodworker or machinist should ship in just a few weeks (at the time of writing this (things could always change). Journeyman’s are harder to come by and we’re waiting on parts, so they’re taking much longer. That’s why you can’t really go off orders numbers. Some might be getting a woodworker and we have plenty in stock and will ship in two weeks, while one might be a journeyman and take 8 weeks to receive.

It showed up today. I can neither confirm nor deny if I was supposed to be at work today.

Fortunately you were home for receipt eh? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Have you got it set up yet?

Yes I just happened to be here. I’ve got it set up for the most part. All I like it getting my spoil board cut and installed. But unfortunately that will have to wait until tomorrow. We’ve got our last Christmas gathering for the year in an hour or so.

Darn those pesky friends & family :slightly_smiling_face:

Took me a couple of weeks to get mine setup because I hadn’t finished my table so I had to get that done first. But fun making stuff since. :+1:

Luckily I was finishing up my table when UPS showed up. I wouldn’t procrastinate or anything like that. I’m scheduled off the next two days so hopefully towards the end of the week I’ll making stuff.

With the delays & my ordering the QCW as well, I didn’t expect it to really ship when it did. I thought it would be 2 weeks later when the QCW was scheduled (although that’s been delayed now until sometime in Jan or later). So I was in progress. And then I’ve modified my table design a fair amount so I was changing it as I built it. I had components coming in as I got closer to finishing it. My last few mods came after I had the 1F setup.

My table tilts so it stores vertically. It’s got embedded power & wiring and I just added an electric winch system to make it easier to tilt/rotate so gravity doesn’t slam things around.

I spend about half my machine time making tweaks to the table or tools and half making stuff. Just did some boxes carved out of soapstone and working on some guitar projects out of South American rosewood.

18665 qcw secure from below got a shipping label today! Of course that could still take a while before it starts moving and I am on with that as I need to finish my workshop yet. Power gets hooked up finally next week. Who would have thought a 320a meter base would set a guy back 3 months longer than expected (ordered in July)
