the attachment of the dust boot is always a compromise.

• Either you attach it to the Z assembly/X gantry, which is like Onefinity Suckit Dust Boot does, and you adjust it to your workpiece height, but it is also possible to

• use a dust boot that attaches to the router/spindle like the PwnCNC v7. This one will move up and down with the router or spindle. But this one has disadvantages too. Imagine you want to mill a deep pocket into your workpiece. You see?

• And finally someone managed to implement a dust boot that is controlled independently.

this does not sound this way to me:

As you can see there in the photo my spoil board is surfaced and comes to the edge of the front and there 9 inches left in the rear that has not been surfaced and youll never surface the whole area but you should be centered better.

Same. I was getting bristles blocking the opening. Just gave the mustache a quick trim and it seemed to have solved the problem in my case as well. I still want to get a different dust boot, but not quite ready to do that just yet.
