of course there is no reason to buy the Makita version for the U.S. market (=for girly power) and with U.S. customary / imperial collet.

What you need, is the normal Makita RT0702C for the big blue 230 V country:

outside the U.S., the Makita hand trim router comes with 6 and 8 mm collets.

RT0700C (without anti-restart function) (no more available)
RT0702C (with anti-restart function) (needs the hack to work with a relay)

But I don’t plan to use it for the Onefinity, it is a hand trim router.

What is bit sad and often leads to problems is that the proprietary Makita collet does not hold the bit as safely as on an ER collet.
